Driving Dynamics - Fall 2018

The Maine Driving Dynamics Course offers all drivers the opportunity to improve their defensive driving abilities. This five-hour course will include discussion of collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and the basic elements that constantly challenge drivers on Maine's highways. A certified Maine Driving Dynamics instructor teaches the course, and the course format engages students with lectures, videos, and class discussion/participation. Those completing the course will receive a three-point credit on their driving record. Course can be taken for credit only once every 365 days. 


Fiction on the Fly: The Flash Fiction Workshop - Fall 2018

Review for Pre-Nursing Entrance Exam - Fall 2018

Thinking of becoming an RN? The NLN pre-admission exam evaluates academic ability in order to identify the most qualified applicants for nursing school. Nursing entrance exams include multiple-choice questions designed to assess the applicants reading comprehension, verbal skills, mathematics ability and knowledge of physical and life sciences. Let us help you reach your goal of nursing school through instruction and study of the academics you will need to pass this test.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Preparation - Fall 2018

So you are thinking of going to college soon? The TOEFL test is a standardized test to measure the English language ability of non-native speakers wishing to enroll in English-speaking universities. If English is NOT your first language and you are trying to enroll in and American college or university you will, most likely, be required to take this test as an entrance requirement. Our instructor will work with you on the reading, speaking, listening, writing and test-taking skills needed to pass the test through the use of online and paper materials we will supply to you. This is anticipated to be a small group experience with individualized assistance available. PLEASE LET US KNOW OF YOUR INTEREST ASAP!
