Medical Office Specialist


with Academy of Medical Professionals

This certification program will teach you the practical real-world skills essential for success in the healthcare field. This completely inclusive course consists of Medical Terminology, Medical Front Office Skills, EHR/EMR for the Medical Office and the Administrative Medical Assistant.

You will learn MedTrak electronic records system used in many medical offices. In addition, upon completion of all courses, you will sit for your CMAA (Certified Medical Administrative Assistant) Examination and CBCS (Certified Billing Specialist) through the National Healthcareer Association.

This course includes Medical Office Specialist course (Certified Medical Administrative Assistant) as well as all of the Medical Billing & Coding with CPC, leaving you with 3 national certifications. It also includes our program at a discounted rate. The program begins with Terminology/A&P and CMAA and then you begin the Coding program at week 17.

Prerequisites: All applicants must be 18 years of age. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is also required.

Personal Fitness Training: Theory & Practice


with Academy of Medical Professionals

The focus of this training is to understand physiology and kinesiology, how to properly do a health screening, muscular strength and endurance, cardiorespiratory programming, working with special populations, weight management, behavior modifications and professional responsibilities and business aspects. CPR, First Aid and AED training are required for any job in this field, and will be offered as part of this curriculum at the end of the training period along with the national boards’ exams through NASM/AFAA, included in the fee. Everything you need to obtain gainful employment, obtain your own clients, start your own business will be taught in this program. Our instructors have over 20 years experience in the fitness industry and will be a continuing support system as you move on after graduation and certification. Prerequisites: All applicants must be 18 years of age. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is also required.

Pharmacy Technician Certificate


with Academy of Medical Professionals

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be helping the Licensed Pharmacist with all the necessary day-to-day services that the Pharmacy provides. Everything from preparing medications to answering phones, receiving and verifying prescriptions, counting tablets, taking requests for refilling of medications, and much more. You are an assistant to the pharmacist.

Prerequisites: All applicants must be 18 years of age, have completed high school with a diploma or GED equivalent. Basic math and familiarity with a computer are essential for admittance into the Pharmacy Technician program. If you have a felony on your record, please be aware that this may hinder you applying for a job or obtaining your certification; please be sure to discuss this with the school beforehand. You must complete the software lectures. If you would like us to provide a tutored pretest before participating in this course, there will be an $80 tutored test fee.
